On the very next day 28 th of August 2010 AYCA faced Malir Gymkhana the toughest Cricket Club in Pakistan which produced players such as Inzamam-ul-Haq, Rashid Latif, Younas Khan and Khalid Latif, that was the game which AYCA should win to stay in the tournament, where Malir Gymkhana won the toss and elected to bat first and they bundled out on 92 and AYCA chased the score very easily and won the game by 6 wickets. AYCA faced Malik Sports Cricket Club on 29 th of August 2010. MCC won the toss and invited AYCA to bat first. AYCA scored 204 in 20 overs and AYCA bowling attack proved hard to handle for MCC and they got out cheaply, scored 57 in 15 overs by losing all their wickets, by the result of that game AYCA qualified for the Quarter Final. On 31 st of August 2010 AYCA faced one of the toughest and unbeaten side of the tournament in the Quarter Final stage, Pakistan Cricket Club. Pakistan C.C won the toss and elected to bat first and once again AYCA bowling was up to their mark and they bowled out Pakistan C.C in 92 runs. AYCA chased the score for the lost of 2 wickets and qualified for the next stage of Semi Final. On 3 rd of September 2010 AYCA faced Pak Korangi where Pak Korangi had the services of International test bowler Mohammad Sami. Pak Korangi won the toss and elected to bat first. They give a challenging target of 120 runs to AYCA and AYCA batters as expected were up to their mark and chased the score 19.3 overs and qualified to the Final. On 6 th of September 2010 AYCA faced A.O Blues, who had the services of Rana Naveed-ul-Hassan and hard hitting batsman Imran Nazir and Pakistan Test player Mohammad Rizwan. AYCA captain Khaliq Dad Noori won the toss and elected to bat first. AYCA openers Mohammad Shahzad and Javed Ahmadi took a good start and give a good platform for the dependable middle order batters and scored 158 in 20 overs.
